Kristin Rubisch

“It’s my firm belief that I gained a wide range of fundamentals from Alfred that almost no university offered, and that this knowledge–combined with the supportive, incredible professors–inspired me to pursue a career that combines my love of communications and marketing with my desire to make the world a better place.”

When Kristin Rubisch first began college, she was determined to work in politics. However, her communications classes, work with Alfred’s radio station and experience with A.U.’s Fiat Lux newspaper redirected her. After graduating with a dual major in communication studies and political science, Kristin earned a master’s degree in international communication at American University.

She now lives in New York City and works as a marketing manager at The Door, a youth development nonprofit organization. She writes key publications, composes solicitation campaigns and supervises major projects.
