Ceramic art by Associate Professor Matt Kelleher appears in Schaller Gallery exhibition
Matt Kelleher, Associate Professor of Ceramics at Alfred University’s School of Art & Design + Performing Arts Division, recently was featured in an exhibition in the Schaller Gallery, in Baroda, MI.
Twelve of Kelleher’s ceramic works were included in the exhibition Quietude: Reticent, Reserved, Relaxed, which also featured the artwork of nine other ceramic artists. The show was held March 28.
Kelleher joined Alfred University in 2015, after receiving his MFA in Ceramics from University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He also received an MA in Printmaking from the University of Northern Iowa and his BFA in Ceramics from Kansas City Art Institute.
His work has appeared in numerous exhibitions and venues, including the Weisman Art Museum, in Minneapolis, MN, and the Delaware Art Museum, in Wilmington, DE. An article on his artwork was published in 2015 in Ceramics Monthly, and he has been featured in numerous other publications, as well.
