SOAD Assistant Dean Maria Bentley '15 presents study at National Council for Arts Administrators Conference

Maria Bentley '15, assistant dean of the School of Art and Design, New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, recently presented a compelling case study, “Student-Centered Approach: Safety and Wellbeing,” at the 51st National Council for Arts Administrators Conference held September 25 at Interlochen Center for the Arts, in Interlochen, MI.

This conference serves as a vital platform for arts administrators, fostering the exchange of ideas, identifying pressing challenges, and developing collaborative solutions to the many issues faced in higher education arts administration today.

The National Council for Arts Administrators is dedicated to creating a supportive environment for impactful discussions and leadership in the field.

Bentley earned a B.F.A. from Alfred University in 2015 and went on to earn a master's degree in College Student Development, also from Alfred University, in 2020.
