Alfred University's Theatre Department presents the comedy Don't Dress for Dinner. All performances are free and run for two consecutive weekends in Miller Theatre; Nov 1, 2 and Nov 8, 9 starting at 7:30 p.m.

Please join us for Light Matter 2024, an annual festival dedicated to experimental film and media art recently called "a major East coast showcase for experimental film and video art." (Sicinski, InRO). This year, we expect 10-12 visiting artists to be in attendance as the festival showcases over 80 short films from over 20 countries around the world, ranging from abstraction to documentary to archive-based feature films to multi-channel work.
This will be showcased in Holmes auditorium on Friday November 1st starting at 4:30PM, Saturday in Holmes auditorium starting at 1:00PM and Sunday in Nevins Theater starting at 1:00PM

This exhibition invites viewers to experience the dialogue between two mediums. Opening reception is Friday, November 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Robert C. Turner Gallery, show will be on display through Friday, November 10.

The Gallery Committee is encouraging faculty, staff, alumni, and others to submit exhibition proposals by guest curators for possible consideration of inclusion in the Fosdick-Nelson Gallery 2025-2026 exhibition schedule. As we enter the 125th year of the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, we would like to encourage applications that celebrate Alfred’s connections, past, present, and future. Additionally, we would like to encourage proposals addressing diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Alfred Ceramic Art Museum
The Alfred Ceramic Art Museum at Alfred University houses nearly 8,000 ceramic objects ranging from small pottery shards recovered from ancient civilizations to modern and contemporary ceramic art.
Weekly figure drawing session, open to all students and community. Fridays at 5:30pm beginning the second week of classes and during the semester in the Brick Basement.
