The 19th Dorothy Wilson Perkins Ceramic History Lecture Series will take place on Thursday, October 3 at 4:30pm in Nevins Theater, Powell Campus Center and will be given by Tao Wang on the work of Li Hongwei.

Electric Op: Special Lecture by Tina Rivers Ryan

Artforum Editor and former Buffalo AKG curator Tina Rivers Ryan will present a special guest lecture on "Electric Op," the first major exhibition (curated by Rivers Ryan) to examine how the Op art of the 1960s and 1970s related to not only industrial machinery, but also the new electronic media of the dawning post-industrial era. The exhibition opens at Buffalo AKG on September 27.

Landfall Press: Five Decades of Printmaking celebrates 50 years of work from one of the country’s most renowned printer-publishers. Landfall has collaborated with distinguished artists and international rising stars, including Judy Chicago, Christo and Jeanne-Claude, Robert Indiana, Nicky Nodjourni, Diego Romero, and Fatima Ronquillo. The exhibition, on view August 30 - October 25, 2024, will have an opening reception on Thursday, September 19th at 6:00pm.
