On Friday evening (Oct. 25), Alfred University announced a campaign which by 2027 will have raised $200 million. “Realizing Our Promise, The Campaign for Alfred University,” was unveiled at a gala ceremony held on campus in the Joyce & Walton Center.

Two courses for first-year students enrolled in the Alfred University College of Business are providing them valuable real-world business experience while also helping them to chart their academic and professional journeys. The classes—BUSI 105 (Business Perspectives) and BUSI 106 (Contemporary Business)—are mandatory first-year experience courses, taught by Dean Pauline Stamp in the fall and spring semesters, respectively.

Myles Calvert, Director of Alfred University's Institute for Electronic Arts (IEA), School of Art & Design, New York State College of Ceramics, recently received an invitation to attend the International Academic Printmakers Alliance (IAPA) event hosted at the Xi’an Academy of Art in China and coinciding with the institution’s 75th anniversary.
