Ukrainian students discuss war, two years after Russian invasion Several Alfred University students from Ukraine held an open discussion Friday afternoon where they talked about the Russian invasion of their country and the war that has raged there for two years. “Cost of Freedom. Hidden Truth: What the News Do Not Talk About” aimed to educate the campus public about the experiences of the Ukrainian people and how the war has impacted the students from Ukraine attending Alfred University.

Men’s rugby program to move under Athletics Department as varsity sport Alfred University announces plans to house the men’s rugby program under the University’s Athletics Department. Men’s rugby, which currently operates as a club team, will begin play as an intercollegiate varsity sport once construction of the new rugby field at the Saxon Hill Sports Complex is completed.
